Office Construction and Fit-Out

Our existing client Jalco asked us to carry out a design and construct project to replace their existing 300 square metre office space in Smithfield.

We were required to make major structural and layout upgrades within a three-week timeframe so the space was ready to accommodate important new business. One of the requirements was to design in a way that allowed staff to move between unclean areas without contaminating the new office space.

After one week of preliminaries, design, and approvals, we requested the space be vacated and progressed to three weeks of onsite construction works and fit-out.

This project required major structural changes and upgrades as well as asbestos demolition. Our team stripped the entire inside of the office and replaced it with a clean, contemporary, functional workspace.

Despite the tight time frame, we came in with one day to spare.

The finished product included the two new bathrooms, separate office spaces for management and combined office space for different departments. We created a communal meeting area, smaller meeting rooms and a new boardroom, entry, foyer and kitchen.
